Refund & Return Policy

At TailCruise, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn't right, here's how returns and refunds work.

Return window
We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, contact us through our Contact page with your order number. Items sent back without first requesting a return cannot be accepted.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled, in the same condition you received it
  • Free from dirt, damage, stains, or wear
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase or your order confirmation

Because this is a furry vehicle accessory, items that have been installed or used on a vehicle — exposed to wind, dirt, weather, or road conditions — may not qualify for a return.

Non-returnable items

  • Used or installed tails
  • Items damaged by improper use or installation
  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Items returned without original packaging

Damaged, defective, or wrong items
Please inspect your order on arrival. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo or video of the issue. We'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund — you won't need to ship anything back in these cases.

Return shipping
For non-defective returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for return packages lost in transit. Once your return is requested and approved, we'll send you return instructions.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return (or your photo/video evidence for damaged items), we'll notify you whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Order cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before they are processed or shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may request a return after delivery.

Safety & installation disclaimer
TailCruise is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or unsafe placement. Please make sure the tail is securely attached and does not block your license plate, lights, sensors, camera, or visibility, and that it complies with the road regulations in your area.
